The foundation laying ceremony of NOUN Community Study Centres in Fagge ‘A’ and that of Rijiyar Lemo all in Fagge Local Government Area of Kano State has taken place amidst fanfare and jubilation from the beneficiary communities.
The new centres are being sponsored by the Chairman, House of Representatives Committee for Tertiary Education and TetFund, Rt. Hon. Aminu Suleiman, who is the representative of Fagge Federal Constituency in the National Assembly.
The two ceremonies, carried out at different dates, witnessed the turnout of large number of expected beneficiary communities.

Three days later at the Rijiyar Lemo ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor was represented by the Director, Lerner Support Services (LSS), Prof. Greg Okagbare, who was flanked by the Dean of Postgraduate School, Dr. Mande Samaila as well as the acting Kano Study Centre director, Mudassir Ishaq.
The Vice-Chancellor’s representatives, alongside the lawmaker jointly laid the two foundations of the work, expected to increase the educational enrolment in the local government.
